Stretch marks

What are stretch marks?

Stretch marks appear as a result of small tears in the dermis, the deepest layer of the skin located between the epidermis and the hypodermis. At first, stretch marks look like purplish-red streaks or scars that can be itchy and inflamed. Over time, they turn white and pearly, almost the same colour as the skin. They are generally found on the stomach, breasts, arms, buttocks, and thighs and often appear during pregnancy or adolescence.

They can also form after a sudden and dramatic change in weight (gain or loss), resulting in skin being abnormally stretched and expanded.

We offer three different treatments for stretch marks:

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion, which is suitable for the vast majority of skin types, uses a device to blow air containing small abrasive crystals onto an area of skin to exfoliate dead skin cells and activate cell renewal.
